The coatings of ceramic pans are very hard and have a high abrasion and scratch resistance. However, experience has shown that the long-term non-stick effect is not quite comparable to a real PTFE-based non-stick pan, which is why we, as a specialist dealer, for ceramic pans do not speak of non-stick pans, but consider them a product category in their own right.
Ceramic coatings are particularly suitable for those users who do not want a PTFE non-stick coating but do not want to forego a certain level of ease of care and for whom uncoated carbon steel or cast iron pans are too complicated to use.
