iron pans

When "iron pans" are mentioned, carbon steel pans are usually meant, i.e. pans made from a piece of sheet steel that is formed into the pan shape by forming (forging / pressing / rolling). Iron pans should not be confused with cast iron pans or enameled cast iron pans. They are also not to be confused with stainless steel pans .
Iron pans are sturdy, scratch-resistant and durable. They are well suited for crispy frying, because the tasty roasted aromas develop well here.
Iron pans are usually lighter than cast iron pans because they can be made thinner, but like these, they are not necessarily easy-care pans. The dishwasher is taboo, otherwise there will be rust.
