Shipping from Germany to the UK has become much more difficult since Brexit. So much more difficult indeed that we even had to suspend shipping to the UK for some time to overcome the new bureaucratic hurdles that had arisen. But now...

We are delighted to finally be able to offer our valued UK customers a simple and straightforward shipping solution to the UK!
Together with our shipping partner DHL and local delivery partner Royal Mail we can now offer DDP shipping rates. DDP stands for delivered duty paid. Your benefits are:

How does it work?
For GB, your cart value decides
If you are in Northern Ireland, nothing changes for you. Deliveries from the EU to Northern Ireland are treated like intra-community deliveries and are duty free.
If you are in Great Britain, the cart value decides about how UK customs treats your shipment: All shipments with a net value up to £135 are excempt from import duties with the exception of VAT which we automatically process for you. The DHL handling fee is also already included in our fixed price shipping rate.
All shipments with a net value exceeding £135 are subject to customs processing and import duties. The carriers, DHL and Royal Mail, are also charging extra fees for those shipments going through customs. But with our DDP (delivered duty paid) shipping option for all orders over £135 net, you simply pay all import duties and fees in advance at the checkout of our shop. That way your shipment zips through customs and is delivered to you without further payment upon or after delivery.

Yes. In Germany, DHL charges a "Brexit handling fee" for all shipments to the UK. In addition, for shipments to GB over £135 net, there is a DDP (delivered duty paid) fee for presenting the shipment to customs and for handling the payment of the duties to customs. Royal Mail, the delivery partner in the UK, also charges an extra fee for processing those shipments from the EU.
But don't worry, all relevant postal fees are already included in all of our UK shipping options and thus prepaid. You won't be charged by the postman when he delivers your parcel.
No. We offer you hassle-free, no-surprises shipping rates that include all applicable taxes, duties and also postal processing fees!
No. At customs, there are hundreds and thousands of different tariff categories and rates. The actual tariff rate depends on the kind of goods, the material they are made of, the origin of goods etc.
In order to offer a technically feasible solution, we work internally with an average value of the customs tariffs. And even if in some cases the import duties calculated by UK customs should be higher than our internal calculation that was the base for your shipping cost at checkout, you will never be billed extra for that; we cover the difference.
