Enamelled steel roasters are real classics in the kitchen and were the standard in most kitchens before stainless steel roasters and cast aluminum roasters became established.
Steel-enamel roasters, like most cast-iron roasters, are enamelled all over, but steel-enamel casseroles are significantly lighter and therefore more comfortable to use. The enamel is glass-like hard and non-porous and does not absorb odors or colors.
