Pots made from raw, non-sealed cast iron are robust and durable, perfect for traditional cooking. Of course, cast iron pots are considerably heavier than a cast aluminium pot, for example. On the other hand, cast iron pots offer excellent heat retention, ideal for slow, gentle cooking, whether on the hob or in the oven.
The pre-seasoning layer applied in the factory is the ideal basis for the patina that develops over time, which further improves the frying properties.
